GP Management Plan Referrals

Formally known as Enhanced Primary Care Plans or EPC's, patients with a valid GP Management Plan (GPMP) and Team Care Arrangement (TCA) that have visits allocated to Beyond Podiatry may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for podiatry appointments at our our clinics. Referrals should be faxed to 02 4960 1794.

Eligible patients may access rebates for up to a maximum of five (5) times per calendar year across all Allied Health Services. To receive this service from Beyond Podiatry, the referral GPMP and TCA should be forwarded or presented to Beyond Podiatry, and the patient must have rebates available.

GPMP Referrals are valid for twelve (12) months, and are valid for the stated number of services only. If all services are not used during the calendar year in which the patient was referred, the unused services can be used in the following calendar year. Be mindful that any service carried over to the following year will be included in the five rebates allowed for that year.

When all referred services have been used, or a referral to a different allied health professional is required, patients need to obtain a new referral.

If a patient has used all of the allowed rebates for the year and require further services, they will be required to pay according to the normal schedule of fees as outlined by Beyond Podiatry.
